AAA: Durham Bulls (40-35) 5, Syracuse Mets (33-41) 4  Box Score

Mauricio went through a rough four-game hitless streak last week but has bounced back this weekend with back-to-back multi-hit games. His 16.3% K% is hist lowest since his was in rookie ball.

Araúz is hitting .277/.410/.600 so far in June. After recording hits in his first five games back with Syracuse, this was Vientos’ first hitless game since his demotion.

Reyes struck out a season-high eight batters in Sunday’s start but also gave up four runs in his six innings of work.

Lavender needed just 13 pitches to strike out the side in order; he has an incredible 14.88 K/9 this season. After going 9 1/3 innings in Triple-A without giving up an earned run,

Parsons gave up the winning run in the bottom the ninth inning.

AA: Akron RubberDucks (35-34) 5, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (35-34) 3  Box Score

The Rumble Ponies had just seven hits in Sunday’s game but went three-for-four with runners in scoring position, allowing them to push across three runs. They were held without a run for the first five innings of the game before Peroza drove in the first run with an RBI single.

Fryman added two more runs with his seventh-inning double.

Marceaux was making his organizational debut after being traded by the Angels for Eduardo Escobar earlier in the week and struggled mightily in his first showing. He gave up five runs and did not strike out a single batter in two innings of work.

For the season, he has a 5.46 ERA and has given up four more runs in six of his last nine starts. Juarez needed just nine pitches to get through a perfect inning in relief.

Moreno has been one of the hottest pitchers in the Mets minors recently, as he has given up just 3 runs in his last 22.0 innings pitched and has struck out 28 batters over that span.

A+: Brooklyn Cyclones (31-37) 2, Hudson Valley Renegades (39-30) 1  Box Score

The Cyclones had just four hits in Sunday’s game and went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position but managed to score one run each on a fifth-inning sacrifice fly and a ninth-inning wild pitch.

De Los Santos’ 28 steals this season rank third in the South Atlantic League and are all the more impressive considering he is only getting on base at a .263 rate.

Ramirez has struggled to consistently get hits in June but his 16 walks in the month are tied for the most he has had in any calendar month in his career.

Quintana was making his third rehab appearance in his return from a rib injury, and it was his longest appearance so far: he threw 47 pitches in his four innings pitched.

Hernandez was also making a rehab appearance with Brooklyn; he has not given up and runs in his four rehab appearances so far. Hardy has a 15.23 K/9 this season.

A: Jupiter Hammerheads (36-32) 1, St. Lucie Mets (25-42) 0  Box Score

The Mets were shut out in Sunday’s game; they had just four hits and went 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position. Lara drove what little offense the Mets had in this game. His sixth inning double was especially impressive as it left his bat at 105.3 MPH, extremely impressive velocity for a 19-year-old. Thomas is hitting .333/.381/.544 and has most walks than strikeouts this season.

Ramirez worked very efficiently in this start, needing just 56 pitches to make through five solid innings. However, he did not strike out a single batter in his start and got whiffs on just 10% of his pitches. Reid-Foley pitched a perfect inning in the third rehab appearance of his return from Tommy John surgery. His fastball averaged 95.6 MPH and got three whiffs on four swings.
