Starter Simeon Woods-Richardson started the night in good shape, allowing only one hit while striking out two in his first two innings of work, but fell apart in his third inning of work. Three walks, two singles, two steals, a wild pitch, and a passed ball resulted in five runs scoring and Woods-Richardson being taken out of the game after 59 pitches.

Jose Moreno added more fuel to the fire in the next inning allowing two more runs to score after a single, walk, and a two run double. The quartet of Szapucki, Mitchell, Viall, and Zabaleta would finish the game strong though allowing only two hits the rest of the way while striking a combined eight batters.

St. Lucie was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader today.

Both Syracuse and Binghamton had the night off.
