Syracuse 5 – Rochester 4 (10) Box Score

Syracuse jumped out to a 3-0 first inning lead, but they couldn’t build off of it. They would eventually find themselves not just in extra innings but trailing by one in the bottom of the tenth.

Taijeron delivered a one out triple causing Rochester to load the bases to both set up and double play and to face Tim Tebow. That plan was foiled when Luis Guillorme pinch hit and delivered a two winning two RBI.

As noted, Lockett was charged with holding an error lead, but by the time he left the game, the Mets were tied. Sewald would keep it that way. This allowed Nogosek to get the win after allowing just one unearned run.

Nogosek has yet to allow an earned run since his promotion, and he’s allowed an earned run just two times all year.

St. Lucie 8 – Tampa 4

Box Score

Vasquez had a big game tonight. He’d score St. Lucia’s first run of the game. His fourth inning homer tied the score. He’d also have what was the game winning RBI with a two run single in the bottom of the seventh.

Santana pitched in his first start as a part of the Mets organization. He lasted five innings and got the no decision partially due to the St. Lucie offense.

Columbia 5 – Rome 2

Box Score

Offensively speaking, Columbia won this game with a four run third inning. In that inning, Columbia would send eight batters to the plate with half of them scoring.

Mauricio delivered the first run with an RBI single, and he scored on the ensuing Avant two run double.

Woods Richardson shined on the mound. He no-hit Rome over five innings before being lifted He also continued racking up the strikeouts as struck out more batters than innings he pitched

DSL Mets1 5 – DSL Phillies Red 3 (10)

Box Score

Polanco sparked a game tying rally in the eighth, and he would score what would prove to be the winning run in the 10th.

With his allowing just one earned run over five, Garcia lowered his ERA to 1.80

DSL Mets2 9 – DSL Tigers1 3

Box Score

The DSL Mets2 squad jumped all over the DSL Tigers 1 scoring runs in five of the eight innings.

Like Garcia, Colina’s allowing one earned lowered his ERA to 1.80. Unlike Garcia, Colina was able to walk away with a win.
