Syracuse won Thursday as Vientos made his Triple-A debut. Vientos looked the part as he collected two hits with an RBI as well. Vientos was the DH and did not play the field. Lee picked up a base knock, as his on-base percentage now sits at an absurd .444 in Syracuse this season. Mark Payton picked up a pair of hits as well as he collected his 17th double of the season. Syracuse scored one run in the bottom half of the ninth to win it as Payton’s single to center field won it for the Mets in walk-off fashion.

• RHP Jordan Yamamoto 4.0 IP 3 H, R, ER, BB, 2 K, 2.70 ERA

Yamamoto continues his road back to the major leagues as he threw four solid innings of work as the starter versus the Red Sox. Yamamoto threw 58 pitches across four innings with 43 of them being strikes.

Binghamton picked up the win Thursday as Rincon played great. Rincon, who was the prospect the Mets got back from the Dodgers for Billy McKinney, has been very good for the Rumble Ponies as he continues to hit well. Mauricio found his way on base and picked up his 10th and 11th stolen bases of the year with two more Thursday night. Binghamton took the lead in the fourth and never looked back picking up their 47th win of the year.

• RHP Akeem Bostick (S, 1) 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K, 1.29 ERA

The Rumble Ponies pitching was great Thursday as Bostick and Alex Sanabia combined four nine innings and two runs with seven strikeouts. Bostick entered in relief after Sanabia threw five innings and had a very encouraging outing. He allowed no walks across four innings, adding four strikeouts as well.

Brooklyn lost a close one as they were up one heading into the top of the ninth, before they gave up four runs. Palmer swiped his 30th stolen base of the year and his seventh since joining Brooklyn. Palmer was switched to third base later on in the game, moving over from left field. Wilmer Reyes recorded two hits and two RBI’s as he has 16 hits in 46 at-bats.

• RHP Oscar Rojas 5 IP, 7 H, 2 R, ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 7.23 ERA

Rojas did a good job limiting runs Thursday as he pitched a solid five innings, allowing only one earned run. Rojas allowed seven hits and had two walks, but got out of trouble and only surrendered two runs, one earned, in the game. Dylan Hall threw a scoreless inning as he was recently sent down by Binghamton.

St. Lucie lost a slugfest Thursday to the Hammerheads as Mcllawan led the way. Rowdey Jordan hit his first home run of his young professional career as he lead off the game with a homer. Justin Guerrera hit his second home run of the season as he hit a solo homer in the fourth.

• LHP Luis Rodriguez 4 IP, 4 H, 0 R, O BB, 3 K, 7.71 ERA

Rodriguez pitched well for the Mets Thursday as he threw four strong innings, allowing zero walks. Rodriguez had his command in tact walking zero and had the longest outing out of the St. Lucie pitching staff Thursday night.
