The New York Mets were fairly busy finalizing deals with a new class of international free agents, despite not being among the teams handing out larger, seven-figure bonuses to players. Instead, the Mets attempted to stretch out the $5,348,100 pool that they were were allotted. Focusing on players in the $100,000-$500,000 bonus area translated to the Mets acquiring 29 players yesterday. It would be prudent to note that most of these deals are usually agreed upon around a year before ink ever hits paper.

Currently, player bonuses are not out for all the players the players the Mets signed yesterday. Here we just want to provide a bit of a showcase for a number of players that the Mets acquired, be it video or mentions of these players.
