Kingsport Mets RHP Steve Villines has been promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones.

Villines was the Mets 10th round pick out of the University of Kansas.

In Kinsport, Villines made right relief appearances pitching 8.1 innings. Overall, he is 2-1 with a 1.08 ERA, 1.200 WHIP, and an 11.9 K/9. Of note, Villines has yet to walk anyone.
