In the Dominican Winter League (LIDOM), the Tigres del Licey won Saturday’s game 4-0 with Ronny Mauricio playing a key role in the victory.  Box Score

Mauricio was the only Mets prospect to appear in the game:

Mauricio got the Tigres on the board right away with a first-inning sacrifice fly. Although that would be all the offense that Licey would need for the game, Mauricio’s had another big moment in his in the fifth inning. With two outs and one runner on base, he crushed a long home run to left field. Mauricio has been ridiculously hot in his seven games in the LIDOM: he had four doubles entering the game and added his first home run of the season with the two-run blast.

In the Arizona Fall League, after snapping a five-game losing streak on Friday, the Javelinas found themselves in the loss column yet again by losing 3-0 on Saturday.  Box Score

Three Mets prospects appeared in this game:

Clearly, this was not the ideal outcome for this young trio of prospects. However, the Javelinas only had two hits during the entire game, so they did not kill any rallies with their hitless performances.

The Javelinas will look to revive their offense when they play next against the Saguaros on Monday at 3:35 ET.
