Catcher Colton Plaia would follow with a single of his own to score two runs. Yeixon Ruiz singled and  stole second  and then scored on a Jonathan Johnson RBI single.

Charleston scored a run in the 5th inning on a home run over the left field fence by catcher, Edurado DeOleo, his 10th of the season.
