Xorge Carrillo has been solid with the stick this entire winter ball season and has been even better lately hitting .405 over his last ten games. Last night he was 2 for 4 with the game-tying RBI double in the bottom of the 9th inning with one out. Overall in the Mexican League he is hitting .296/.349/.396 with 20 RBI and 21 runs scored in 159 at bats for the Aguilas de Mexicali.

- Johnny Monell – 0 for 3, two walks, run scored, catching for Criollos de Caguas in Puerto Rican League (.280/.398/.449 with 19 walks compared to 18 strikeouts in 29 games).
- Jean Rodriguez – Made his debut on Monday going 1 for 4 for the Leones del Escogido in the Dominican League.
T.J. Rivera had himself a monster game last night going 2 for 3 with two homeruns and five RBI for the Indios de Mayaguez in the Puerto Rican League. He is now hitting .315/.390/.479 with three homeruns and nine RBI in 21 games.
