Zack Wheeler took some time out to sit down with Matthew Stucko of MiLB.com recently to chat. One of the questions Stucko asked the Mets’ top pitching prospect is what he bought with this first paycheck.
After getting drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the first round (sixth overall) in the 2009 MLB draft, he signed for $3.3 million. Take a look at the video below to find out what Wheeler decided to use some of that money for.
