Who’s Hot

Travis d’Arnaud, Las Vegas 51s

TDA has been on an absolute tear since his recent demotion from the big club. Since his last big league game, d’Arnaud is 13 for 33 (.394) with a .459 OBP and whopping .909 slugging percentage. He has seven extra base hits in eight games, including five home runs. He’s driven in ten and struck out just twice. He’s clearly locked in at the plate and focused on getting back to the bigs as quickly as possible.

Andrew Brown, Las Vegas 51s

Brown continues to obliterate AAA pitching as he is 14 for 35 (.400) in his last ten games. During that span, he’s registered eight extra base hits, including four home runs and nine RBI’s. He’s also matched his six strikeouts with six walks and scored six runs.

Kevin Plawecki, Binghamton Mets

Plaw continues his excellent season at AA Binghamton as he is 12 for his last 35 (.343) with a .415 OBP and a .429 slugging percentage. He’s been drawing more walks as of late (5 in his last 10 games) which was really the only flaw in his game early on in the season. His overall slash line on the season is .329/.373/.498, his best stats to date.

Who’s Not

Cesar Puello, Las Vegas 51s

Puello’s dreadful season continues as he’s just 3 for his last 28 (.107). He has 33 strikeouts on the season and just 14 walks. His average sits at a measly .219. At this point, Puello’s struggles are quite concerning and his future with this team looks iffy at best.

Anthony Seratelli, Las Vegas 51s

Seratelli does not appear to be anywhere close to pushing for a spot on the big league club as he continues to struggle in hitter-friendly Las Vegas. He’s just 4 for his last 28 (.173) in his last ten games. He’s struck out seven times during that span and only walked four times. He also has just one home run on the season. That a .244 season average does not bode well for his stat line.

Matt Clark, Binghamton Mets

After a strong start to the season, Clark is just 7 for his last 32 (.319) with just four extra base hits. Although two of those were home runs, Clark needs to be more consistent. He’s striking out over 20% of his at-bats and is not walking enough.
