Wuilmer Becerra

Wuilmer Becerra has been replaced on the Tigres de Aragua playoff roster because he is heading back to the US to start training for the 2016 season. Becerra has seen limited playing time in the Venezuelan Winter League over the past two weeks with the manager going with veteran players. He was hitting .294 in the postseason after batting .405/.416/.500 during 21 regular season games.

For the first time during the Puerto Rican league playoffs, T.J. Rivera did not play for for the Indios de Mayaguez. He is currently hitting .311 in postseason play. The Indios beat the Criollos de Caguas 6-1 and are leading the 18-game round robin playoffs with their 8-4 record.

Johnny Monell went 0 for 3 with a walk and a strikeout for the Criollos, he is now hitting .294 in 11 playoff games.

The Dominican Winter League championship round has been set with the Tigres del Licey facing off against the Leones del Escogido in a best-of-9 series that starts tonight. Rafael Montero is on the Leones roster while Chase Huchingson and Jenrry Mejia are on the Tigres roster. Montero has his best appearance of winter ball on Monday.

Xorge Carrillo was part of a scary scene on Monday night when he was hit by a pitch in the face and had to leave via ambulance. Thankfully, he was seen in the clubhouse after the game and reports say that his only known injury right now is a fractured nose.
