All T.J. Rivera does is hit and he continued that trend last night for the Indios de Mayaguez in the Puerto Rican Winter League playoffs going 3 for 6. He also walked, double, and scored a run while raising his postseason average up to .353. The Indios beat the Criollos de Caguas  7-5 in a 16-inning marathon that saw 23 pitchers throw in the game.

Johnny Monell went 1 for 5 with a run batted in the loss for the Caguas. He is now batting .348 during the playoffs after hitting .268/.388/.423 during 34 regular season games in Puerto Rico.

The Aguilas de Mexicali lost last night for the first time in the Mexican Winter League Playoffs falling to the Mayos de Navojoa 6-3 but still lead the best-of-7 series two games to one. Xorge Carrillo went 0 for 3 with a hit by pitch for the Aguilas, lowering his playoff average to .409 in seven games.

On Tuesday night, Andrew Barbosa threw his second straight gem and now has 11 scoreless innings with two playoff wins in the Puerto Rican Winter League.
