Tylor Megill

B/T:  L/L Age: 20 (9/13/1999)

Height: 6’1″ Weight: 230 lbs

Acquired: Drafted in the 11th round of the 2018 Draft

ETA: 2024

2019 Stats: 1-1, 2.57 ERA, 21 IP, 6 ER, 4.3 H/9, 12.4 K/9, 6.9 BB/9, 0.0 HR/9, 3.17 FIP, 3.82 xFIP, 33.3 GB%

In only his first full season as a professional Megill advanced two levels going from Columbia to Binghamton. While his ERA wasn’t where you would like it to be as he advanced his ability to get strikeouts while limiting walks remained constant.

Adonis Uceta

B/T: R/R Age: 25

Height: 6’1’’    Weight: 225

Acquired: Signed as an International Free Agent in 2013 ( Dominican Republic)

ETA: 2020

2019 Stats: 2.18 ERA ,5-3, 7 SV, 57K, 19 BB, 1.127 WHIP

One of the breakout performances of the 2019 year was the play of Uceta while in Binghamton. His 55 strikeouts in 56 innings helped him achieve his 1.44 ERA in Double-A. Look for Uceta to be a name thrown into the mix if the bullpen is in need.

Jordany Ventura

B/T:  R/R  Age: 19

Height: 6’0’’  Weight: 162

Acquired: Signed as an International Free Agent in 2018 ( Dominican Republic )

ETA: 2025

2019 Stats: 3.78 ERA, 2-2, 54 K, 19 BB, 1.089 WHIP

The 19-year old Ventura spent the 2019 season playing above his age level and while his stats may not have been overly impressive, his ability to limit the long ball and a near 3/1 strikeout to walk ratio does. His fastball-slider combination will play up as he develops and continues to improve on his easy delivery leading to good command of his arsenal.

Warren Saunders

B/T:  R/R  Age: 21

Height: 6’3’’  Weight: 188

Acquired: Signed a Minor League Deal 2018

ETA: 2024

2019 Stats: .323/.397/.386  1 HR, 20 RBI, 23 K, 10 BB

The 21-year old Saunders is a prospect who has shown an ability to make contact and his strong showing in the Don’t Blink Home Run Derby hints at a future ability to hit for power. His versatility allows him to play multiple defensive positions that only adds to the value he will bring the system moving forward.

Blaine McIntosh

B/T: L/L  Age: 18

Height: 6’4’’  Weight: 180

Acquired: Drafted in the 13th round of the 2019 MLB Draft

ETA: 2025

2019 Stats: .228/.311/.228, 4 RBI, 5 SB, 22 K, 11 BB

A 2019 13th round draft pick who chose to sign with the Mets over attending Vanderbilt University. With an ability to play center field long term and a smooth left-handed swing, he may end up putting his name alongside the high school players the Mets took with their first three picks in the 2019 draft.
