It was another solid week of action in the Mets minor leagues. All of New York’s affiliates are now in full swing with their respective seasons. Here’s a look at how each team did this past week:

Las Vegas 51s

The 51s went 4-2 this week, including taking three of four games from the Tacoma Rainiers on the road. Their solid week of play has brought their season record to 43-38, just 0.5 games out of first, where the Tucson Padres currently reside. Las Vegas has been doing most of their damage of the road, boasting a 24-17 record. They start a three-game series tonight at home against the Fresno Grizzlies.

Binghamton Mets

The B-Mets just continue to win. They won their 50th game of the season yesterday against the Trenton Thunder, the first time they’ve done that before July 1st in franchise history. Three days were affected by the rain, but Binghamton still managed to go 4-1. They have also won 10 straight series. They are now 50-29 on the season, nine games ahead of Portland in the EAS Eastern division, and have won eight of their last 10 ballgames.

St. Lucie Mets

St. Lucie struggled to a 2-5 week in their last seven games, and have lost four in a row. Before getting an off-day tomorrow, Domingo Tapia will attempt to prevent the sweep at the hands of the Fort Myers Miracle. St. Lucie is now 4-7 to start the second half. They’re only three games behind the first-place Palm Beach Cardinals, but find themselves in last place in the FSL South division.

Savannah Sand Gnats

After a slow start to the second half, the Gnats are back on track with a 4-2 week. They’re on their way home to face Hickory tonight at Grayson Stadium, and it was a happy bus ride after taking three of four from Rome over the weekend. Savannah improves to 5-5 in the second half, and are in fourth place in the SAL South division despite being only 1.5 games out of first place.

Brooklyn Cyclones

The ‘Clones had a tough week, going 2-5 and dropping a couple of heartbreaking extra inning games. At 5-8 on the season, Brooklyn is in a tie with Aberdeen for last place in the NYPL McNamara division, 4.5 games behind the first place Hudson Valley Renegades. They begin a four-game set with Staten Island tonight to start their climb back up the division.

Kingsport Mets

The K-Mets also went 2-5 this week, and are unfortunately in the cellar of the APP West division with their 3-8 record. This record also included a four-game losing streaking in the middle of this week. Their first full week of the year is now in the books, as they look to take their second series of the year in tonight’s finale against Elizabethton.

GCL Mets

Rain also plagued the GCL Mets from getting a full week of games in, but they struggled to a 1-3 record over the last seven days. Their one win, which was their first of the year, came when Michael Fulmer went to the mound for a rehab start. They’re now 1-5 on the season, in the cellar of the GCL East standings, five games behind the Cardinals (7-1) for first place.
