Mets prospects SS/CF Jett Williams and 3B Jacob Reimer have been promoted from Low-A St. Lucie to the High-A Brooklyn Cyclones. Tim Healey of Newsday was the first to report.

Williams, 19, is hitting .249/.422/.410 with 12 doubles, six triples, six home runs, and 32 stolen bases in 38 tries. The 2022 first round pick is still playing mostly his natural position shortstop, but he has also played 14 games in center field this year. Williams has a 134 wRC+ in the pitching-friendly Florida State League.

Reimer, 19, is hitting .284/.412/.392 with 10 doubles, six home runs, and 37 RBIs in 74 games. The 2022 fourth round pick has played 52 games at third base and 12 games at first base. The right-handed hitter has a 132 wRC+ this year.

I reported earlier on Sunday that the Mets were promoting OF/2B Nick Morabito from the FCL Mets to the St. Lucie Mets. Shortstop Diego Mosquera is also being promoted to St. Lucie from the FCL Mets.

Morabito, 20, is hitting .324/.437/.432 with five doubles, two triples, one home run, 18 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases in 12 attempts. The 2022 second round pick has played 13 games in center field, six games in right field, two games in left field, and five games at second base.

The 19-year-old Mosquera is hitting .272/.331/.307 in 31 games with the FCL Mets this year. The plus-plus defense has played 16 games at shortstop, eight games at second base, and five games at third base.

Sources also told MMN that right-handed pitcher Bailey Reid is being promoted from St. Lucie to Brooklyn.

I previously reported that the Mets are promoting pitching prospect Blade Tidwell from High-A Brooklyn to Double-A Binghamton.
