AAA – Pacific Coast League

Game 1: Las Vegas (53-51) 6, Fresno 5 Box Score

  • T.J. Rivera DH 2 for 3, HR (9th), 2 R, .336/.374/.482
  • Johnny Monell C 2 for 2, HR 17th), BB, 2 RBI, 2 R, .283/.347/.513

Gavin Cecchini amidst trade rumors was not in the original lineup but was entered in when Brandon Nimmo was scratched to join the Mets. He went 1 for 4 with a run scored and did not play in the second game of the doubleheader.

Game 2: Fresno 2, Las Vegas (53-52) 1 Box Score

Dilson Herrera sat out his fourth straight game with a sore shoulder.

AA – Eastern League

Portland Sea Dogs 7, Binghamton Mets (48-55) 0 Box Score

The B-Mets were limited to just five hits. Dominic Smith was given the day off a day after being pulled from the game. Amed Rosario was placed on the seven-day DL. Boyd has gone 17 for 34 over his last ten games.

The loss snaps Pill’s five game winning streak. Regnault pitched a scoreless inning in his first B-Mets game since being placed on the DL by them in April.

A Advanced – Florida State League

Bradenton Marauders 5, St. Lucie Mets (53-47) 1 Box Score

St. Lucie was 0-7 with RISP. This was Katz’s first home run since May 7th.

Reyes rebounded nicely after allowing 14 ER across his last three starts. This was his second double digit strikeout game of the year. It was Griset’s own error that opened the floodgates in the 8th inning that saw a 1-0 lead turn into a 4-1 deficit.

A – South Atlantic League

Columbia Fireflies (47-55) 3, Asheville Tourists 2, F/10 Box Score

  • J.C. Rodriguez 2B 2 for 4, BB, R, RBI, .238/.299/.349
  • Eudor Garcia DH 1 for 4, R, .231/.277/.397
  • Dash Winningham 1B 1 for 3, RBI, .246/.292/.392

Rodriguez drew a bases-loaded walk in the 10th inning to drive in the winning run.

Canelon rebounded nicely from his last start that saw him give up six earned in his last start. He’s now allowed three earned or less in 17 of his 18 starts, and he had a quality start in 15 of his 18 starts.

Short Season A – New York Penn League

Brooklyn Cyclones (20-19) 5, Vermont Lake Monsters 3 Box Score

Woodmansee is on a six game hit streak. Alonso hit his first career triple and had two hits off his former Florida teammate and A’s first rounder A.J. Puk.

With his latest double digit strikeout outing, Gonzalez now sports an 11.6 K/9.

Rookie – Appalachian League

Game 1: Johnson City Cardinals 6, Kingsport Mets (13-21) 2 Suspended Box Score

Wolf has gotten a hit in seven of his last 10 games after going hitless in eight of his first 11 games.

This was Ramos’ second start of the year, and he is 0-2 in those starts.

Game 2: Kingsport Mets (13-21) at Johnson City Cardinals, PPD

Rookie – Gulf Coast League

GCL Marlins 8 – GCL Mets (11-16) 1 Box Score

Dirocie has not been caught all year in his three stolen base attempts. In his minor league career, he has been successful 17/20 times.

Hernandez is on a three game losing streak having allowed three plus earned in each start without pitching into the sixth inning in any of these starts.

Rookie League – Dominican Summer League

Game 1: DSL Mets1 (27-18) 2 – DSL Yankees1 Box Score

Beracierta now has hits in 29 of his last 34 games, and he’s hitting .345/.409/.417 on the year.

Rondon has allowed two runs or less in all eight of his starts.

Game 2: DSL Yankees1 4, DSL Mets1 (27-19) 1 Box Score

Fermin’s two RBI triple was his team leading sixth of the year.

Campos has permitted at least one earned run in three straight appearances.

Santana hit his first triple as a professional on the night.

Martinez was the first of four straight relievers who gave up two plus hits, two plus walks, and three plus earned runs.
