Guillorme is finally getting a start at SS today
How long they really going to keep Rosario in St. Lucie with the B-Mets stuck playing Gibson and Romero at short?
Waiting for the weather to change I guess. I want to see Rosario draw a darn walk though.
Ya the 7/0 SO/BB is a little alarming for sure.
Fireflies have Tucker Tharp in the lineup but have not officially activated him from the DL according to MiLB.
Flexen gives up a solo homerun in the first but is hitting 94 MPH with his fastball.
He ends up giving up four straight hits and three runs in the first.
Updated with Tharp coming off DL and Witt Haggard going on.
Luis Guillorme hits his first double of the year but get’s stranded at second.
I wish SNY would broadcast some of these games. Especially when the Mets aren’t on.
Maybe oblique issue? Gotta be something with his swing.
Binghamton beating up on Erie
he’s tied with Nick Gordon on hits.
Mickey Jannis has thrown 5 hitless innings for Binghamton so far, they lead 7-0.
6 hitless now.
Columbia up 2-1 in the 5th inning of their home opener.
Likewise, wouldn’t it be nice to watch the no-hitter that is going on.
Flexen was terrific after a rough first inning, didn’t allow a run in his final 5.2.
Jannis loses the no hitter to the first batter in the bottom of the 7th inning against Erie.
Columbia winning 2-1 as they head to the 6th inning of their home opener.
Maikis De La Cruz crushes a long two-run shot for Bingo and the rout is one.
Conlon proving me very wrong so far as a starter, pitched 6 innings of one-run ball tonight for the Fireflies.
Dom Smith now has two hits and two RBI, starting ti heat up after having two hits on Wednesday.
What’s the upside for Jannis? Don’t want call him next RA, but I’m excited to see what he becomes.
5th starter, he isn’t very similar to Dickey either. He can get his fastball up to 89.
Dilson still not in the lineup tonight.
St. Lucie drops to 5-3 after a 3-0 loss to Dunedin.
Another day and another RBI for David Thompson who has driven in 9 now on the early season for Columbia.
i’ve heard 92
Even better, I just remember seeing him hit 89 this fall.
