Ty Kelly had a 2 for 5 game with a double and a RBI, he is hitting .377 in the PCL.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4 vs. Binghamton Mets (33-44) 2 BOX SCORE
The Binghamton Mets managed to collect only five hits total as they drop the series opener against New Hampshire.

All the offense came from the second, third and fourth hitters in the lineup. Jose Reyes went 0 for 4 with a strikeout but made several good defensive plays at third base. Smith drove in his 51st run of the year, he is batting .316 over his last ten games. Rosario has been great since joining the Binghamton Mets, he’s hit safely in all seven games, with a multi-hit game in four of those seven.

Casey Delgado got some great defense behind him, the only error made was by himself which cost him a run. Stefan Sabol threw out a runner at first base. Binghamton turned three double plays in the game and Delgado picked off a runner.
Before the game Matt Oberste, Logan Taylor and Tyler Pill were named Eastern League All Stars
St. Lucie Mets vs. Charlotte Stone Crabs was suspended with two outs in the bottom of the sixth. Game is tied at three, Kevin Taylor hit a homerun and drove in three. Chris Flexen had allowed just one earned run.
West Virginia Power 4 vs. Columbia Fireflies (38-40) 2 BOX SCORE
The Fireflies dropped the series opener against West Virginia. The Fireflies collected just five hits in the loss.

The Cyclones lost their second in a row against State College. The Cyclones collected eight hits and struck out twelve times, ten of them against Cardinals 2014 second round pick Ronnie Williams.

Mets 16th round pick Trent Johnson had his second scoreless outing and Jose Carlos Medina pitched two scoreless to preserve Kingsport their second win. Jordan Humphreys got his first career win in his second career start. In nine outings and 22.1 career innings between GCL Mets and Kingsport, Humphreys has pitched to an 1.99 ERA.

The GCL Mets got their second win of the year. The GCL Mets collected twelve hits with seven of the nine starters collecting at least one.

St. John’s product Joe Napolitano made his pro debut with his first save. The GCL Mets played some great defense, Kenneth Bautista had two outfield assist, gunning down a runner at third and second. Ranfy Adon also threw out a runner at third in the victory.

The DSL Mets1 tied the game in the bottom of the eight but could not get the victory while outhitting the DSL Indians 8-7.

Its gonna get quite interesting if/when conforto destroys aaa for a couple weeks and Nimmo continues to do well at major league level.
Agreed. Too bad we cant have an OF of Cespedes/Nimmo/Conforto with Lagares as the 4th OF. Wish Granderson and De Aza would go somewhere else.
Good to see Conforto and Plawecki hitting well in AAA. Plawecki was rushed to the majors last year and really needed the time AAA and playing in Vegas should really be helping their confidence. Hopefully, they’ll put it back together down there and will be ready to contribute soon.
I think some lose sight of the fact that Granderson was one of the Mets best hitters in June.
I nderstand Conforto has been getting some hits off lefties? Still, 1 for 4 is a little disconcerting. He seems to have had his share of those.
