
Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada was scratched from today’s game versus the Cardinals with tightness in his left hamstring. The injury isn’t considered serious, and the Mets pulled Tejada from the lineup as a precaution. Anthony Seratelli will start in his place. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into something more serious

February 28 Adam Rubin of ESPN New York writes that Bobby Parnell will throw live batting practice session on Saturday for the first time since undergoing herniated disk surgery. Rubin adds that Parnell has been proceeding cautiously during spring training, then had a small delay dealing with a left quadriceps injury
